چکیده

This paper gives a detailed study of the morphology and heterogeneity of an electrodeposited cobalt tetrasulphophthalocyanine tetrasodium salt (Co(II)TSPc) layer. A continuous potential cycling of the electrode between two potentials can lead to a modification of a bare electrode. During the modification, a non-destructive characterization by means of scanning synchrotron X-ray fluorescence radiation has been made as a function of scan number. Moreover, electrochemical and SR-XRF measurements were performed in order to calculate the adsorbed Co surface concentration and to distinguish between monomer and dimer adsorption. 2005 Elsevier B.V. The influence of X-ray resonant Raman scattering effects on the detection of copper(II) tetrasulphonated phthalocyanine (CuTSPc) thin-films deposited on gold electrodes

The influence of X-ray resonant Raman scattering on the detection capabilities of copper(II) tetrasulphonated phthalocyanine (CuTSPc) thinfilms on gold electrodes has been investigated by means of synchrotron radiation X-ray fluorescence. In particular the paper focuses on the influence of the excitation energy in the relative narrow energy region of 9.2 to 11.7 keVon the detection limits and t...

ELECTROCHEMICAL BEHAVIOR OF GC, Pt AND Au ELECTRODES MODIFIED WITH THIN FILM OF COBALT HEXACYANOFERRATE

0A thin film of cobalt hexacyanoferrate (CoHCF), an analogue of mixed-valence Prussian blue, was deposited electrochemically on the glassy carbon, platinum and gold electrode surfaces in 0.5M KC1 solution. The electrochemical behavior of these modified electrodes show three couples of redox peaks by CV in a supporting electrolyte solution of 0.5M NaCl, whereas for Au modified electrode only ...

Morphological, structural and photoresponse characterization of ZnO nanostructure films deposited on plasma etched silicon substrates

ZnO nanostructure films were deposited by radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering on etched silicon (100) substrates using dry Ar/SF6 plasma, at two etching times of 5 min and 30 min, and on non etched silicon surface. Energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) technique was employed to investigate the elements contents for etched substrates as well as ZnO films, where it is found to be stoichiometric. Su...

Kinetic study of CO desorption from cathodic electrochemically treated carbon paper supported Pt electrodes

Platinum particles were grown directly by an electrodeposition process on electrochemically treated carbon paper (CP) for kinetic study of carbon monoxide (CO) desorption. The treatment on CP was performed by applying −2 V for cathodic oxidation over 5 min. Treated CP was characterized by FTIR to investigate the oxygen groups on its surface. CO surface coverage at each temperature was determine...
